In the lame duck session of Congress, which follows the Nov. 2 elections to when the new Congress is sworn in on Jan. 3, 2011, President Barack Obama will push the Senate to pass a bill that includes an amendment to end the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy that prevents homosexuals from openly serving in the military, according to White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs.
While “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” (DADT) is a directive in Defense Department rules, it stems from a federal law (10 U.S.C. 654) enacted by Congress in 1993, which prohibits homosexuals from serving in the military. Under DADT, military officials are not supposed to ask, and soldiers are not supposed to disclose whether they are homosexual.
The House passed a Defense bill in May that includes an amendment that would repeal most elements of 10 U.S.C. 654 and thereby allow the Defense Department to eliminate the DADT policy. That bill must be passed by the Senate, however, and then signed by the president to become law.
Gibbs said President Obama plans to lobby for the bill’s passage in the lame duck session, the same Congress where Democrats (and two Independents) hold a 59-seat majority in the Senate.

Of course it will be ended. Ending the policy serves the agenda of the elites: destroy the family and American culture so that a new world order can be constructed.
All forms of debauchery and immorality will come next. Our society is collapsing in a total and complete manner.
We will not have families and we will not have morality.
The Commander and Chief has the sole responsibility to inact such an order. Congress does not have such a responsibility. As did President Truman did when he totally intgrated the militaries. My queston for the President would be WHY is he trying to side step his responsibility on to Congress?

1:34, "destroy the American family". How's that? Because you think seeing a gay man is going to turn you gay and have you cheating on your wife with other men? Just trying to follow your logic here. I would bet that straight adulterers and divorce has wrecked way more families than some gay dudes prancin around.

it is the gay agenda that will destroy the family. Gayness has become mainstream and readily acceptable.
So passing a budget by last April is not on the agenda? Good, This will defund all the crap they passed!
