Rob Fisher, the “beltway bandit” who has amassed a small fortune sucking at the federal teat wants your vote. He’s running for the GOP nod to challenge Rep. Frank Kratovil (D-MD) against Maryland Senator Andy Harris (R-7).
Fisher claims to be an “outsider”. He’s an outsider alright! He didn’t even have a residence in Maryland until AFTER he filed his papers to run for office!
Paul West’s piece in this morning’s Baltimore Sun provides an excellent glimpse into Fisher’s character and why he isn’t worthy of our votes.

You forgot to mention that he still holds a valid VA drivers license.
My money says he was paid to run against Harris thinking people on the Eastern Shore were stupid and would vote for someone just because they were born and raised on the shore. Looks like his handlers will have to find another scapegoat now that their cat is way out of the bag.

According to his bio he employs 19 people across the U.S. I know of local restaurants that employ more than that.
Nice post. I read the Sun article. This dork "just rented" a condo in Ocean City!. And he works in Northern VA. What a commute!! He was asked a question at the QA county c.c. meeting about where he attends church. His answer? He attends church "on-line." One of Kratovil's close advisors told me that Fisher has an arrest record a mile long. Great candidate!1

Did you bother to actually read the post or the "Read More" post? How about the "Sun" article?
This guy gets caught in lie after lie. He's running as an "outsider" yet he's the one who has amassed a fortune on the backs of taxpayers.
Give me a break! Trying to dismiss people you don't like by claiming that they are the "establishment candidate" simply won't work when your "outsider" is anything but. As I noted in the accompanying piece, this is one reason the GOP can't elect candidates.
If you don't like Harris, don't pull the lever for him. However, if you have any principles whatsoever then voting for Fisher means that you either sold them out or you are a fool. Again, this is not Ehrlich v. Murphy!

Fisher's as much a "Eastern Shore" boy as Harris is, probably more so.
Harris is a career politician, only out to increase his own power. That's the root of the problem in DC.
I left the GOP for this reason. When they start putting this Country and its people ahead of their own wealth and power, I'll considering supporting them again.
I seem to recall from the last republican primary, lots of ugly stories about then Congressman Wayne Gilchrest, all paid for by Andy Harris.
Now this.
One common denominator: LIAR Andy Harris.
Andy said Wayne was a liberal.
Andy lied.
Andy recycled that ad to then say Kratovil was a liberal, extremely liberal. Yet Kratovil has one of the most independent voting records in all of Congress. Another Andy lie.
Andy made a mockery out of a "half-quote" taken from the debate and posted that on his website.
Andy cannot elevate himself from the mud. The party had to take him in and teach him to shut up and quit being so arrogant.
I cannot believe some of you folks who support the liar.
You should have kept Wayne, you wouldnt be plotting to overthrow Kratovil if you kept Wayne.
You made your beds now you can lie in it. As for Fisher, I believe he is just another victim of Andy's lies.
