Andy Harris Press Release

I hate to start off with bad news for America, but the House of Representatives voted Tuesday to pass a $26 billion “stimulus” bill. It amazes me that Congress made a special trip to Washington to spend more money, not to pass a budget or extend tax cuts that are about to expire. The bill even includes a $10 billion tax increase in the middle of a recession! Nonsensical legislation like this is the reason Maryland needs someone in Washington that will oppose Nancy Pelosi’s job-killing ways and stand up for American families and businesses.

Andy Around Town
It’s been a great week on the campaign trail! Saturday, I went to the Blessing of the Combines in Snow Hill and got to ride a John Deere in the Parade of Combines! The festival was filled with antique farm equipment, local organizations, and is an amazing tradition that highlights the importance of the agriculture community on the Eastern Shore. I met people at the Caroline-Dorchester County Fair and the Triple Play GOP Picnic in Anne Arundel County. It was a beautiful Saturday to travel the District!

Last Wednesday, I spoke to the Associated Guns Club of Baltimore in Baltimore County. They have over 60 acres of conservation land that is used for gun education and safety training. The members know how important Second Amendment rights are to this country. They need someone in Washington to represent them and what they stand for. Also this week I spent the day in Easton, went to the Queen Anne’s County Fair, and sign-waved in Baltimore, Anne Arundel, and Queen Anne’s Counties.

Breakfast With Andy
We have two Breakfast With Andy events coming up: Baltimore County, this Saturday - August 14th - at the Silver Spring Mining Company in Cockeysville and the following Saturday – August 21st – in Cecil County at Bentley’s Restaurant on Pulaski Hwy. Both begin at 8:30 am and cost $10 per person.

well at least this time he's spending a little time on the Shore. Guess he learned last election that our votes really do matter in this race... I am not saying Kratovil has been down here, or was much during the last election... I wish we had a candidate that was a lil more rounded than the both of them...I do not think Andy Harris is the answer to our Kratovil Problems...
