Katherine Amenta will be leaving WMDT today and moving onward and upward to Washington, D.C. joining Channel 8 News.Katherine has been just spectacular to the Eastern Shore. Watching Katherine and Stacy Sakai together on the evening news was always a blast. They had a chemistry that just kept you smiling and neither of the two were hard on the eyes, that's for sure.
It has been an absolute pleasure personally knowing Katherine and I can only wish her the very best as she moves up the ladder in television news. All Our Very Best Wishes Katherine Amenta.

Best looking tv person that has every been around here IMO. that covers many many years folks. Sexism aside, she was damn talented too.
Now I have no reason to watch 47. She is gorgeous and comes across as a total sweetheart.
Shes moving on up, to a deluxe apartment in the sky, movin on up gonna get her a piece of that pie.

Channel 8?? When did DC get a "Channel 8"? I thought they only had channels 5,7,9,20,22,26,& 45? Maybe cable??
