While Congressman Kratovil voted No on the Senate Health Care Bill and NO on Reconciliation, he flipped when he opposed the Motion to Recommit. However, if he was totally against the Senate bill, he would have supported the Motion to Recommit.
Sadly and expectedly Kratovil voted with 232 Democrats in voting No. The vote to Recommit: 199-232. That certain illustrates where Kratovil's support lies.
The Motion to Recommit would have negated the prior Health Care vote and sent this disasterous bill back for further study. Kratovil opposed this motion and voted the party line.
Reconciliation vote: 220-211

Lets do what NJ or Iowa are trying to do... Lets get a petitions going to get signatures to get their names put on a recall list so we can vote them out... Specially that Donna Edwards who Stated this bill is WHAT PEOPLE WANT... when in fact it isn't....
Can you spell history with a capital "K"?
He's a gutless tap dancer, and it is so apparent.
Kratovil would have voted for the bill if needed.
His vote against Recommit p[roves that.
He's done in November weather he voted for or against. Vote them all out it's the right thing to do America!!!!!!!!!!!
He should be embarrased by his no to recommit vote. How can he possibly explain that vote. He seems to be as sleezy as Obama.
You gotta be kidding me! You Republicans win by getting the Democrat Kratovil to vote to kill the bill (unsuccessfully, obviously) and you're still not happy.
Goes to show he should have voted with the majority. At least they he could look those in the 1st District in the eye that are a) suffering from insurance company abuses or b) truly concerned about cutting the deficit. Instead, neither side will give him quarter.
Kratovil's reluctance to declare himself against the Senate Health care bill combined with his NO on Motion to Recommit says it all. Bye bye Frankie.
As a liberal Democrat, I think he is a weak man who let the loud mouths around here push him around.
