Wicomico Library Exempt From Clearing Sidewalks?

If the Wicomico Library has as much foot traffic as they claim, why are their sidewalks still covered with snow and ice. The answer, it too will melt.

Look, no matter what is said, discrimination is clearly a factor within Code & Compliance. I mean no disrespect towards the many hard working men and women within that Department but reality is reality.

If the City wants to threaten fines, why not go after their own Departments first, (including County run facilities)

Even the GOB wasn't properly cared for, according to Code & Compliance rules. The examples that have been set were extremely poor. Mind you, Code & Compliance isn't in charge of snow removal, they're just a Department within the City. Their job is to make sure "everyone" follows the rules. So, that being said, is there legislation enforcing the City/County to be fined as well? If so, had any of the departments we provided images of been fined? I mean, isn't tat like robbing Peter to pay Paul?

Sidewalk in front of Parson's Cemetary was never cleared. Were they fined?

And that building in the background is where John Cannon's office is located (and owned by the family).

Surprised Pollitt didn't have that cleared immediately, he is so afraid of being sued. He wouldn't ban driving during the storm for fear of being sued.

Ya know, Worcester County didn't shovel the county owned sidewalks around their parking lot across from the courthouse either. The county must be exempt from town ordinances, is all I can figure. Sidewalks on both sides of the county property were kept cleared throughout the multiple snowstorms, but Worcester County never once cleared the parking lot sidewalks that the citizens of Snow Hill had to walk on. It "walk at your own risk" if you walk on their sidewalks. It was easier to walk in the street!

Agree with this 100%

PRMC must have been exempt as well.

Have you seen the turning lanes in front of Bennett High? They are still covered with snow, and you have to get in the straight lane to turn right.

Its "do as I say, not, do as I do."
I wouldn't expect Cannon to have his cleared, but I would expect the library and gob to be cleared.

I called #77 Saturday afternoon to report a stop sign/road sign down at intersection of Jackson Rd and St. Lukes Rd in Salisbury/Fruitland area while on my way out of town. Rode by it today and it is still down! Hope someone who has the authority to take care of this does so ASAP before someone gets hurt!

11:17 things happen slower around here, even when they affect ppl's lives. The only time things are handled quickly is when those in charge are effected by it. Look at the half-a$$ed plowing and needless spending by the local yaaawho's. If you cant afford good public services you shouldnt be buying useless parking lots for an antiquated civic center.
