Royal Farms On Rt. 50 To Celebrate 1 Year

The new Royal Farms on Rt. 50 will be open for business one year this week. Considering I travel past this location almost every day, one thing is for sure, they picked a great location to put this business as they are constantly busy.

I love that Royal Farms - always friendly cashiers and despite it being busy ALL THE TIME, I never have to wait for a pump and the line inside always moves quickly.

Not sure what went down this morning. There were 4 county sheriff dept. cars in the parking lot with lights flashing.

So much better than the Exxon at Isabella Street.

The intersection at rt. 50 is a fatality waiting to happen. The store is great though. Only a matter of time before the crossover becomes left turns only like Rockawalkin and Main St Hebron.

You are right--very dangerous getting from White Lowe to Rt 50 East. If they close the left turn from White Lowe I guess I will just
drive to Cambridge to make my uturn

3:34pm You are exactly right. Our water will be tainted and no one will be held responsible for it. We, the taxpayers, will be the ones to play to clean it up, if it can ever be cleaned up. Where were the "greenies" when this was approved? Oh, that's right they only want to attack the farmers.

They were made to have above ground tanks. Should be much easier to detect a leak, and with the concrete pads, as well as other envrironmental controls, groundwater contamination is highly unlikely. I remember when the council voted to require the tanks above ground, rather than the normal. Correct me if I am wrong, but Stevie Prettyman was a major proponent of the above ground tanks for the very reason of the Paleo Channel.
