Salisbury News: Delmar Middle & High School Running 2 Hours Late Tomorrow

Delmar Middle & High School will be running two hours late tomorrow and all buses will be running in Delaware as well.

Anonymous said...: Well, how can I personnally complain when 1. I chose Delaware because of low taxes. 2. Better Schools. 3. Hands down BETTER communities. 4. We vote for increases in our schools taxes to expand or improve. 5. Everybody knows Delaware roads are kinda bad.
Why mouth off when most of us understand that if the plows come when it's iced over it'll tear up our paved roads. If we barely have enough money to salt and plow how are we going to repair?
We do our best to do the right thing for our children and sometimes it isn't convenient or affordable but AT LEAST we try to keep them safe. Most roads in the Delmar area are at least one lane and must be traveled cautiously. Better to keep the buses off the road. Our kids may go to school until July but we built an amazing high school with air conditioning. Not convenient but it's the right thing for them.; February 17, 2010 at 5:46 PM
