Hi Joe, I was reading your blog last night, regarding side roads and their condition. I took this picture a few minutes ago on Hartford Road, off of Northwood Drive. Sorry for the quality of the picture but I wouldn't get out of my car to take a better one because I am wearing heels and would prefer not to break any bones. All the side roads off of Northwood are pretty much in this same condition... Marvel, W. Gordy, etc. Have a great day.

Joe, Go take a ride down Ward Rd. near the airport. That road is bad.
I have it on good authority from an employee of the WCBOE that they were told in Dec. by the County that if we got anymore snow after Jan, the only roads that were going to be cleared was the main roads. They were told to prepare to go to school until July...
I found out last night, Even Parson's bought more salt than the City and Wicomico Cty.....
10:14 good to know that we plan ahead. Had the morons in charge declared a state of emergency FEMA money would have been available to take care of all of this. Considering all the mindless defending and self proclamation about everything being the best around here someone would actually back it up with something other than just "talk".
Two words for you folks...BUDGET CUTS!
And why do these budget cuts hurt so bad in times like these? Two more words...POOR SPENDING!
Imagine how much snow could have been plowed with the cost of that "necessary" tower truck over as SFD? Or how much snow could have been plowed if Salisbury didn't spend so damn much money on the the Station 16 Fire Palace and went with something a little more modest?
The said part is that a lot of people speak up about this frivolous spending, but certain people on City Council do not properly represent their constituants! Remember times like these when you go to the polls to vote for new Council Members! And remember that Campbell and Cohen respect and respect your tax dollars properly while Smith, Shields and Comegys spend away with no reprocutions in mind!
