It is good to see the younger generation getting involved in this. They are going to be more affected by this socialist push than us older individuals.
Don't they teach public speaking in schools any more? Students at the college level should be articulate. OTOH, Bush was never articulate. Maybe this kid has a future in the GOP.
Just because Obama can read the teleprompter, doesn't really make him articulate. I love how he never looks straight ahead. I also love the fact he just gave away over sovereignty yesterday at teh summit......
Government schools are only supposed to create good government workers. You are already seeing a huge backlash to this horrible Obama regime, and it is going to get much worse for him. I am curious as to how far the people who make this country great are willing to go. The 50% who do not pay taxes are sure not going to try and revitalize the Constitution.

I personally think a tea party is a grand idea, but why muck it up with all this political speak. A nice breakfast tea or perhaps an Earl Grey with a biscuit! Now that is how it's done. The Queen Mum
I haven't laughed this hard since Jordan Reisman tried to "play adult" until warm beach weather/lacrosse playoffs distracted him last year. If you guys and gals from SU need a "public speaking" project-why don't you speak up a little more regarding how you guys are being mugged at local ATMs instead? A bloody Tea Party...Focus on applying all of mom and dad's extreme tuition money learning to read "The Pet Goat" before you take on the Constitution.
You seem too immature to respond to things you apparently do not understand. Lumping everyone into one group for you to ridicule, only makes you look ignorant.......
But when you do stand up, have your bloody priorities in order. You know as well, most likely much much better, as I do how many SU students are living in Salisbury now as renters, etc. First, he needs to spend time educating his classmates, one way or the other, on the issues regarding the LOCAL election which is coming up in less than a week. These students, as renters are voting "wild cards." Quite frankly, these students are getting screwed right in their own living rooms because of uncontrolled violent crime and unscrupulous landlords who pack 30 of them into a 2 bedroom apartment and charge them each $300 per head.
In addition, this guy is trying to make such a profound statement regarding how his income taxes are spent-wait until he goes to try to find a gainful first job in this recession. You don't have to pay any taxes if you are unemployed because you graduated with a BA in Philosophy and spend your day playing "Frogger" on your IPod because all reliable employers that offer benfits packages and high wages left town. Don't even get me started on how much student loan and unsecured credit card debt these cats "begin their lives with."
You know I am never timid to speak or to jump into a foxhole to defend a cause-but let's refocus these "kids" on timely, relevant issues they can stand up for and support, rather than just be a lemming who saw a "talking head" on a national news network yell something at them that "sounded important."
It is amazing the amount of people in this country that do not mind giving away their rights. On tax day their will be tens of thousands around the country protesting the waste and abuse the government uses are taxes for. I personally will be attending a Tea Party and I an not a young man with daddy's money. I worked for what I have and will not let the government take it all away.

Joe. I admire him for standing up, as well.
