In case you missed it, the current edition of Barrie Tilghman’s (public service-?) show “Monday Morning With The Mayor,” is a mayoral campaign ad for her dedicated puppet, Bubba Comegys. Not only does she throw him multiple softball leading questions, mostly trying to portray favorably the Barrie-Bubba control of the City for the landlords and developers, but she invites him to TRY (he falls flat, of course) to explain why he is “the best choice” for mayor. This scam, together with the shut-out of the other candidates at The Cottages at River House, shows that Bubba and the Queen will stoop to any level to win the upcoming election. It is obvious that if Comegys replaces Barrie as mayor, we will see 4 more years of the same shenanigans and schemes to boost the fortunes of their backers at the expense of City residents.
There’s an opportunity to put this pair where they belong (it ain’t pretty there) -- in tomorrow’s primary election each voter can and should cast two votes: for Bob Caldwell and Jim Ireton.

This election will go a long way in determining if I continue to live in this city or not. People say you should stay and fight if Gary wins. Well we have been fighting for the last 12 years and the city has become a bad place to live. There isn't much to point to and say, "Wow, Salisbury is such a better place to live in now, than 12 years ago." Salisbury should be the crown jewel of the Eastern Shore, right now it is viewed as the armpit.
Exploiting the elderly, doesn't get any better than that does it?
I barfed twice this morning listening to that Barrie & Bubba BS.
My two votes will be cast for Caldwell and Ireton in the primary election tommorrow.

We need everyone to call their friends, families and neighbors to offer them a ride to the polls to vote for Caldwell and Ireton.
Please everyone do your civic duty and help us win back our city. Even if you are in the county you can still help out at the polls. What affects the city will have a detrimental affect on the county.
Please do your part at the polls as well. Stay there all day long and wave signs.
Joe, it might be a good idea to list the polling places. I talked to a friend yesterday and she thought she was going to Wi Hi to vote. I don't believe that is so.
I'm disappointed, if I were a candidate I wouldn't speak with anyone from WICO until they take that trash off the air.
