The ‘Stating the Obvious Traffic Report’

The predictions were right and the State of Delaware received some substantially heavy snow fall.

With this snow event also came some challenging road conditions. Reports had come in throughout the night and into today that described the roads as snow covered, slushy, but passable. Many motorists have taken this to heart and went about their morning commute as if the weather was sunny and 85 degrees.

As of the time of this release, many Troopers throughout the state are busy handling traffic crash. And when they finish with their current complaint, they will be immediately dispatched to the next accident waiting to be investigated.

As the title of this release speaks to, and to ‘State the Obvious,’ motorists need to exercise extreme caution with the current conditions as they are. It will greatly aid emergency workers and road crews if those heading out, even at this hour, will stagger their commutes so that less motorists are on the roads at any given time.

Many media representatives have requested crash totals and those numbers will bee forthcoming later today after this snow event has passed.
