Funny how it was a terrible idea when Gov. Bob Ehrlich wanted slots in Maryland for 4 years and then we get a liberal Democrat as governer and it is all of a sudden a great idea. Hold on to your wallets you friggin idiots.

Hey huh, 11:11 PM, Your wonderful gov. has threatened to cut back State spending on everything if 'WE' didn't pass it. ie: This MSP class was on hold for the results. Research things before shooting your mouth off.
I was for it anyway, just wanted to set YOU straight.

This should have never had to be on the ballot. this shows our elected officials refuse to do their jobs that they were elected to do. there was no need to for a constitutional change. when a politian threatens citizens with spending cuts, why is it always effect children, seniors, ems, police ect.? these are entitlements for the citizens of the state. why are the wasteful ones not threaten. that is why i voted against slots

We live in Ocean City and decided that if you didn't come visit us before, you can not come visit us to play slots!!!

Glad to hear it Glen. Can someone write the governor and tell him when the money is sent to schools, just forget Stephen Decatur and all the other schools in Ocean City/Ocean Pines/Berlin? They didn't want slots and their kids shouldn't benefit from the revenues. If you think slots will be the downfall of Ocean City, boy do you need a reality check.

Huray for slots! I have personally seen what the revenue has done for Charles Town, West Virginia. These people are going to gamble anyway why not at least benefit form it.

Glen. Wassup with that? You guys already have unchecked June-Bugs who throw beer bottles at police cruisers while having a sack of sweet, smelly weed in their pocket, re-enactments of the Bloods/Crips "Battle of Compton" in your dance club parking lots every couple weeks, restaurant staff who only work six months out of the year and collect unemployment during the winter, and a mayor who can't see any of this because the proposed wind turbines/drilling proposals many many many miles off his beaches are deemed more visually offensive than the actual lady on the beach from Scranton who is determined to wear a two piece swimsuit because she is proud she is finally under 300 pounds after her newest diet. You know some of us leave the Shore once and awhile and have seen really cool beach communities (gas up the car for NC beaches and Myrtle Beach if you can't afford the Bahamas). If many of us want to get some sweet gambling action (slots and Keno are the biggest sucker bets going-play blackjack or craps where the house odds are reduced) a nice ferry ride to the Borgata will even allow us comped rooms, meals and drinks. If you don't want anyone in OC that is cool...just remember though when your "stinky beach" runs short of money that Warren Zevon and Linda Rondstat already own the songwriter rights to "Poor Poor Pitiful Me."
