Could this be the new look of the upcoming Council Chamber Table wood? As mentioned last week, (or so) the County is getting ready to change the Council Conference Table to fit all the new people and angle things so everyone is able to see one and other. Yes, it looks like Salisbury News has the exclusive on the new wood ;-)

And if they had chosen exotic solid wood thet would have been wrong too.
They can't win with morons like you finding fault on both ends of the issue.
