I was friends of Chris Truitt when he was going out with Bruce's daughter. Truitt turned out to be a liberal POS and she left him for a woman more manly than he was. And Chris and Bruce worked at the Salisbury Fire Department together. It seems like this is all tied together in some mental way.
I feel sorry for Homer. He really was a nice guy.

Ever think that - abuse caused some of this? Ellen Degeneres said that is why she could not trust men. His daughter is a smart girl and not that I agree with what she is doing no need to drag her in this.

You know nothing of me so how can you judge me? I do not agree with the lifestyle or support it. I think its wrong - but hate is not going to resolve it. I don't agree with it being forced on me either like they all do now. I know they will answer for it sooner or later and that is their problem. It does not mean she is a bad person though.
What do you hide in your personal life? I'm sure you are not perfect... What Bruce did was horrible and cannot be forgiven. I would not want to explain any of that - All I said was dragging his family down with it is wrong.
Obviously Bruce is not the man anyone thought he was. He is a sick bastard. But if perverts showed signs, There probably wouldn't be any victims. And I wouldn't be Bruce's friend no matter who's daughter he molested. I think this may go a little deeper than a thinking process. And whoever mentioned the father... This is a sad case indeed. I hope the family finds peace in such troubling times. This is one of the darkest of crimes. Bruce needs to stay the path and continue to seek the truth about a sickness that hurts so many children in our country. We read this stuff daily. It is pure evil.
To the men and women who pursue justice for these children, you are in my prayers. I know I would want to kill the SOB's. I don't get it, it is just so damaging to all involved.

It is a shame because Bruce was a great guy and a well-liked person. We have David Cox who was impersonating a police officer to violate girls and got away with it. He is a highly hated person in the Salisbury Fire Department and now he got his job back, promoted to acting Lieutenant, Lieutenant and now Captain. This guy has the authority to go into your home and take your worldly possessions if he wanted to. WTH is wrong with Jake Day and the Salisbury Fire Department. That City has been scraping the bottom of the barrel for years.
Bruce Fowler was also an auxiliary police officer at one time with the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office. There is a plaque in the lobby of the old courthouse with his name on it.
Retired paramedic and volunteer of the Salisbury Fire Department. He was also a volunteer at the Fruitland Fire Department at the time.
The only paramedic to retire from the City of Salisbury. What a shame.

I'm not a family member, just someone who worked with him for over a decade and knew his family. I'm not defending what he did. He deserves to be in jail and it's absolutely disgusting. I never thought he was capable of something like that but he put on a good act for his coworkers. He was strange but I never thought he could hurt someone. I just saying it's a low blow to take out his family to. They didn't have nothing to do with this and are nice people who are stuck with people like you judging them. They didn't commit the crime - he did. Just saying let them alone. I worked with his brother and it's not his fault but he's stuck with the last name to like the rest of his family.

I moved into Rowen's Mill in 2006 and Bruce was my neighbor. He gave me the creeps - always talking about work and his experiences - could shut him up. His female live in (don't want to use her name) was a very nice person and I just couldn't see what she saw in him. I always thought it was money since they seem to have it all. If you want to feel sorry or sad for someone you should feel sorry for her - her grand children. She has worked hard to rebuild her life and I wish her well. Everyone suffered because of him. She lost her home - had to move - it destroyed her well being. Not to mention the 3 girls. God help us with his plan.
These people are often civically active and well known in their communities. Makes you wonder about others.

Sorry but that doesn’t excuse the fact the guy is a pedophile. How many others did he molest that we don’t even know about? Very slim chance these events were isolated. And these are just three incidents we know about. How many more happened that have never been reported? Only 10 years? Given the age of the victims, he should’ve gotten life without possibility of parole. You can rehab people like that. They’re sick in the head and it’s irreparable.

I am saying of course he seemed like a nice guy- Any good actor can play a nice guy. But it was all a front for the monster that lives within him. Most pedophiles perfect this skill so they become respected and trusted and therefore able to get in close to groom their victims. Nice guys don’t prey on good, trusting families and destroy their lives to satisfy their sickness. People like Bruce USE their manipulative skills to portray your best friend, your respected first responder, your friendly neighbor. Then they do volunteer for “nice people” things like being Santa at Firehouse Christmas parties. For some, that would be considered an endearing gesture. But for him his “nice guy” persona was used to have a reason to have little kids sit on his lap. So did he appear as a nice guy? Sure . But he had to so he could ensure the continuation of having families who trust him with kids to molest.

Ask them why they felt it was ok to cover up Bruce’s sick past and not tell the family of the 3 victims that he had ADMITTED to molesting others in the past. So innocent bystanders they are absolutely not. As far as I am concerned they are equally as guilty for covering up his past crimes to ensure they kept up there fine upstanding community reputation personally and professionally with Life Star Ambulance. Question- isn’t it quite intriguing that his ex-wife and family are sitting pretty on millions of dollars complete with a condo in Caymans... ever curious as to why Bruce walked from the divorce with next to nothing to his name? Awfully coincidental that they knew about his past. That’s called selling your soul to the devil right there...hush money.
