Good enough, he wants attention, let it go all across the country.
I keep seeing so many people comment on FB and on other posts that Joe should leave this girl alone, oh poor her etc... She is a teacher someone we trust with the care and instruction of our children. She exploted the vulnerability of a child, a child that because of their learning disabilities sees a psychiatrist. She used her position of authority to try to buy drugs from a child, tell me that child didnt feel pressured to sell those drugs to her?! I guarantee that this isnt the only child she solicited. While I do feel for her addiction and issues, she knows better than this. Put yourself in the shoes of the parents of this child and the child and tell me how you feel about her. We wouldn't be having this discussion if it was found out she exchanged sexual favors with students for drugs, no you all would be calling her a pedophile. So save your holy roller crap for someone else, she is drug addicted people user like every other addict is. She needs help for sure, but again we all know she knew better than this. I seriously doubt this is only as far as it goes.
This story has it all, good looks, good job, sex, politics, shady attorney. Should be interesting to say the least. It's been some time since we've had a story like this.

Vyvance is not a drug.you can get high from. Some have used it for eating disorders but the FDA has not approved it for this issue. It may be she has an eating disorder not an addiction. I would suppose that Jake will now be taking the full salary that the city pays it mayor. His wife's loss salary being about 80 grand a year will cut into their lifestyle pretty deep. What descent parents let their children read blogs or watch the news? Those children should be clueless of whats on this blog or the news. They are small children, not teenagers. As far as the parents, if it was my child, i would stay off the blog because i would not want to see it. They have a choice, look and read or keep scrolling but us blood thirsty vampires have a right to know since she is a teacher, teaching children. She should not be treated any different then i would be if i was that stupid to involve children for my own personal habits. I bet you would think and feel differently if she had exploited your son or daughter, guess its ok with you since its not your child. Additionally, with the obvious conflict, the Wicomico County States Attorney’s Office has asked for and received the assistance of the Calvert County States Attorney’s Office to handle this matter. The investigation is on-going.

teacher in the county....13 years and a master's degree $57,000....has to do with the years you teach and so I doubt Mrs Day is making $80,000
If this girl had a SCT or 504 plan in place, there would definitely be a notation that she was on "x mgs Adderall." All teachers (including Phys Ed teachers) would have a copy of the kid's plan (IEP, SCT, or 504) to assure it was being followed and all accomodations were in place. Day knew this kid had access to this medication and targeted her, probably playing on her sensitivity. She essentially bullied the student, or at the least put the student in a position of feeling forced to do it for fear of her grade being affected. Vulnerable kids would do anything to make sure they keep the authority figure happy.

It is a big deal. If she needed the drug she could go to a physician and have it prescribed. She is illegally soliciting it from a student (who is also a minor) and is abusing a regulated drug. She has access to the student because she is a teacher in our school system. The person who was prescribed the drug is going without needed doses. The student is a child being preyed upon by someone in a position of authority.
She will go to rehab and the charges will be placed on the stet docket or simply not processed

Several years ago a Wicomico County Principal was arrested and charged with DUI/DWI. Everyone was so sure he would be fired and jailed, but he instead made use of the employee assistance program, and went to AA.
He is still a Principal today. Mrs. Day can do the same, and I suspect that is being played out now.

I would like to point out something. You can't compare a Mare's Wife giving BJ's to minor boys while on school property for Adderal to an adult drinking adult beverages on his own time.
