OCEAN CITY, Md. (WJZ) — The serial bank robbery suspect who had previously hit seven Baltimore-area banks is now in police custody, according to the FBI.
The serial bank robbery suspect was taken into custody without incident in Ocean City, Maryland, around 2:30 p.m.
“It’s not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when someone calls in and says this is who it is and then we’ll go get this guy off the streets,” said Assistant Special Agent Scott Hinckley.
The string of robberies started October 19th at BB&T Bank in Pikesville. Soon after, the suspect hit banks in Parkville, Harbor East, Fells Point, and Locust Point.

They used to have armed guards in banks.
Yes and banks used to have real money in them.
Now they have only Federal Reserve "notes" Debt.
Could he possibly be the same person who robbed the Shore Bank (now Xenith Bank) on S. Salisbury Blvd. earlier this year, dressed as a construction worker? That robbery is still unsolved.
Of course he came to OC to hide out. He saw the mayor's ads in the inner city, and by now everybody knows thugs are a protected species on the boardwalk. Thanks, Rick.
black guy committing a crime , that's rare , have mercy on him. NOT!!!!
Bravo to the LEO'S / FBI for nabbing him. Hopefully the bad guy won't get pardoned by Obama and be back on the streets.
