President Barack Obama plans to use his bully pulpit to reinforce the extremist agenda of silencing opposition to radical Islamic terrorism, the White House announced on Monday.
Press secretary Josh Earnest claimed that the move was intended to sacrifice freedom of expression in order to protect American servicemen and women.
The irony inherent in the fact that those servicemen and women had taken an oath to defend that freedom of expression — as did the president himself — seemed completely lost on Earnest.
“The president … will not now be shy about expressing a view or taking the steps that are necessary to try to advocate for the safety and security of our men and women in uniform” if the White House feels that a given piece of journalism could offend Muslims and thereby provoke terrorist attacks.
Earnest made the statement while trying — lamely — to defend the Obama administration’s objections to free speech, specifically opposition it had voiced to anti-jihadi cartoons published in Charlie Hebdo in 2012.

From an article on NBC news the Pope said "One cannot provoke, one cannot insult other people's faith, one cannot make fun of faith," he said. "There is a limit. Every religion has its dignity ... in freedom of expression there are limits."
What ever happened to turning the other cheek. Sounds to me that the Pope and BO are on the same page. Both need to go.
