Art Institute and GalleryThe Art Institute and Gallery will also be opening a brand new show.  All About Color is a multi-media exhibition that accentuates the use of color in art.  Right on time to help us fight off the winter blahs!  Color can be found all around us, at any time of the year and in everything thing we gaze upon, but it's an artist's mental capture of color that intrigues and inspires us, and the AIG is excited to see a wide range of submissions.

AIG's Foyer Gallery Solo Exhibitor is Diane "Diantha" Mitchell of Hebron, MD.  "Diantha" is known for her incredible use of color, depth and detail in her artworks.  "Diantha" draws energies from her culture and activities within her life and that of her family.   The AIG is located on the lower level of the Gallery Building off the Plaza.

The Downtown Bars and Restaurants will have great specials for the dinner crowd, and plenty of entertainment planned for the night.

Looks like it's changed to a more adult event with the bar emphasis. Is there anything geared to children and families?
