BALTIMORE —Under Armour is filing a new lawsuit that accuses a Florida-based company of copying its trademark.
The trademark infringement lawsuit alleges that the company Salt Armour has been selling and promoting sporting goods and products under the names Salt Armour and Defense Armour since 2012.
The lawsuit says that in doing so, that company's consumers are likely to believe that its products have been made, approved or licensed by Under Armour, which isn't the case.
