WASHINGTON (WJLA) - The late Marion Barry's son threatened a bank teller and destroyed a security camera, police said Wednesday.
The incident comes just two weeks after Christopher Barry announced he would run for his father's Ward 8 D.C. Council seat.
According to police, Barry became upset when a teller at the PNC Bank branch in the 800 block of Seventh Street NW told him he could not make a large cash withdrawal because his account was overdrawn.
“You always give me a hard time. I’m going to have someone waiting for you when you get off, you b----,” Barry said, according to a police report on Tuesday's incident.

Wow what. A POS.
HE SHOULD BE ARRESTED.
Perfect fit for D.C. council!!!
He might wanna consider running for mayor of Da Bury.
When news of this gets out in DC...he'll win in a landslide.
It's an election campaign strategy. (Remember who the voting bloc is in his district.)
This incident will be considered a Badge of Honor in D.C. The only thing better he could've done was smoke crack with a prostitute, but that's already been done to death.
Like father like son.
That talk is "Terroristic Threats", and is against the law, arrest the thug!
They are supposed to give the man money he doesn't have? What an entitled idiot.
Was that his sister who raised hell in a McDonalds?
Apparently the apple didn't fall far from the tree (in this case NUT) Have a fair trail but you can expect that he will probably win because DC is a cess pool of stupidity and insanity
I guess Whitey the banker is trying to steal from the black man. Must be why they're looking into arresting the scumbag and haven't done so already.
The teller would not give him money to overdraw his account because she is racist...lol! He is entitled to overdraw his account!
