This Is the Exact Moment a 39-Year-Old Deaf Woman Hears for the Very First Time – and It’s Magical

A YouTube user, who identifies himself as Tremayne Crossley, uploaded a video on Wednesday that seemingly shows his deaf friend hearing for the very first time.

Joanne Milne, 39, reportedly suffers from Ushers syndrome and was born deaf. She recently had “bilateral cochlea implants” fitted, allowing her to hear sounds for the first time in her life.

The video, which was going viral on Thursday, apparently shows the exact moment the implants were turned on. Understandably, the woman was completely overwhelmed and broke down crying as she enjoyed something most people take for granted every day.
