Ladies & Gentlemen, from ALL of us here at Salisbury News, Welcome and Thank You.
For the past two months we have truly enjoyed incredible growth with Salisbury News. However, this week has proven to take us through the roof with numbers DOUBLE what we enjoyed since the beginning of the year.
What gives us such great pleasure out of what we do is when we see those numbers maintain days following, showing us that the new people coming here are returning on a daily basis.
Comments have been terrific too, in case you hadn't noticed and that, (to us) is very important. A Blog is about uniting the community and engaging in healthy debate.
So again, welcome and thank you for joining our huge Family of viewers. We will have yet another 24 hour news day tomorrow and we hope all of you stay dry and enjoy this warmer weather this weekend.

As soon as I have heard something has happened in Salisbury, this is the first place I check for information. Usually you're right on top of it.
Overall; I would rather come to your site then to bother looking at the local news websites.
If only it were good news but we need to know anyway, thanks Joe
Thank you Joe for your constant updates on vital and urgent news of late keeping the rest of us informed. Please know that many of us check your site first.
I know you do screen many of the comments. Yet, I will never understand the many who post stupid and inane remarks. They are without thought and a glaring example of ignorance or simply posted as outrageous to garner a reaction from others.
I give you credit for posting the comments. It is sad to realize that there are many which are worse that you have to reject.
It is further disheartening that those who hide behind their computer screens happily posting away anonymously end up giving our entire area the label of ignorance.
All may have the right to an opinion, but nasty comments without thought only reflect back on the poster.
If you are posting, offer something of value, not mud-slinging or the fact that you couldn't pass 6th grade composition.
Excellent Joe. One thing about you, you are committed and no one can deny it. I'm sure when you first started Sby News there were days you felt "what's the use?"
But you trudged on and persevered and now you have the premier "go to" site for not only local happenings and breaking news but links to other articles of interest.
This blog is proof positive that you are a forward thinker, who is goal oriented and goal driven.
Well all I have to say is as I have said several times before - 'Who The Hell Are You Guys'. Almost live streaming news as it is happening. Seriously, I must say I am impressed. Keep up the good job as I can guarantee you that there is no one else that can outperform your services.

These guys are trained professionals. How else could they be so accomplished.
So right. Just started browsing here the other night. Been back multiple times a day since. Why? Because the major news channels in Salisbury sicken me. The community couldn't have been notified on television at 8:30 when things went down? A probably-armed crimimal running around Salisbury and the news couldn't let the community know to lock its doors? Students get emails. Why can't the news inform the families during? Complete crap.
Unfortunately, I know people who won't visit your site, because you may have published something negative about them or someone they know. That is truly a shame.
I only have one thing to say to you. Keep it up. You are making a difference.
Glad I found you!!!!!
I don't care who says what, Joe, you and your group are providing a much needed service to this area. Keep up the great work people!
Joe,
Please keep up the great work!

Thanks for your blog Joe. I have been on for about 1 year now and feel I am much more informed about what is really going on in this town and I enjoy the national and world issues with a conservative slant. A refreshing alternative to the usual MSM liberal crap. Keep up the good work. Please run for mayor again. If there is anything left of this town after Ireton is done you should definitely have more name recognition this time.
