RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - The Virginia state Senate passed legislation Thursday allowing private adoption agencies to deny placements that conflict with their religious or moral beliefs, including opposition to homosexuality.
The mostly party-line 22-18 vote virtually ensures the Republican-backed bill will become law. The House of Delegates has an identical version of the bill and Republican Gov. Bob McDonnell says he will sign it. Virginia would become just the second state with such a law, which supporters said was modeled after North Dakota's.

My family has known a gay male since he was very young. He is now married to a great guy, and they have a beautiful little girl. If either of these men is mentally ill, then so are we all. They make wonderful parents. A person does not "catch" homosexuality. You are what you are from birth, it is now believed. This couple's daughter will probably be straight, as is 95% of the population; if she should be gay, it will not be because of anything her two fathers did or didn't do.
Those of you who still hold these ideas need to get educated, but I doubt you would believe anyone, certainly not me.

What were you right on? It's proven that homosexuality is a learned behavior. No other species on the planet displays this behavior unless humans have taught it to them. Homosexuality is a perversion to nature.
