Harbeson- On Thursday February 16, 2012 the Delaware State Police formally charged Corey A. Ortwein, 20, of Lewes, DE in connection with the fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred on US Rt. 9 in Harbeson on Saturday, February 11. Ortwein, who had been admitted to the Christiana Hospital since the crash, was arrested yesterday and charged with Vehicular Homicide 1st, Vehicular Assault 1st, Driving under the Influence of Drugs, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was arraigned at JP Court 2 and committed to the Department of Corrections for lack of bail.

The investigation into this crash is continuing.
