Delaware — A law that decriminalized medical marijuana in Delaware has come to a standstill since Gov. Jack Markell suspended licensing for dispensaries. The suspension followed a series of letters that led Markell to conclude if the centers open, Delaware distributors, growers and state employees could be acting in violation of the federal Controlled Substances Act.

Jack,
You are protected by the tenth amendment. Relax.
Why is the government so hell bent on the distribution of medical weed? Seems there are people in very high places that don't want the competition.
10th Amendment. It rocks!

So do the rest of them when the cops and the courts recognize and obey them.
Nullification. I like that word. The states can nullify certain federal laws. The fed CANNOT force any state to enforce, or participate in, any federal law or program.
We, or at least I, have been taught that federal law supersedes all state and local laws. Which is not true, or at least not always true.
Now it is late in the day and I am tired, but that is what I understand from reading about this and the 10th amendment.
If I am wrong, or misinterpreted something wrong, please correct me.
I don't profess to be a constitutional expert, or any expert for that matter, so help me out here.
