That video is bullcrap. That rear hatch lock assembly has to meet federal standards for rear crash worthiness and must stay intact after a rear end collision. The idea that some guy with a baloon can pop it open is absurd.
What happened is that as the guy was pumping the ballon, an assistant pushed the release button for the hatch out of sight of the camera.
Why do you propagate these fake videos?
I've seen that before using a tennis ball.
