Travel Without The Hassle On Wicomico Recreation, Parks & Tourism’s Bus Trips

(Salisbury, MD) Wicomico Recreation, Parks and Tourism’s new season of bus trips is underway; rolling to the hottest spots for entertainment, site seeing and adventure. Registration is open for trips to performances of “Miracle of Christmas,” Billy Elliot the Musical and the Philadelphia Flower Show.

Catch “Miracle of Christmas” at the Sight and Sound Theatre followed by dinner at Stolzfus Farm Family Style Restaurant on Friday, December 9. The bus will depart at 7:45am and return at 9:30pm to the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center. Watch as live animals and talented performers take to the stage to introduce the Miracle of Christmas. Afterwards attendees will travel to Intercourse, PA where they will enjoy a family style dinner at Stolzfus Farm Restaurant. Price includes transportation, show tickets, family style meal, tax and gratuities. The cost is $127.50 per person.

A bus will depart the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center on Wednesday, January 11 at 8:00am for Billy Elliot the Musical on stage at the Kennedy Center. Attendees will enjoy lunch before the show in Washington DC, and then view an inspiring musical from orchestra seats. A quick stop at Cracker Barrel will be made on the way home for a snack or dinner on your own. Price includes show ticket, lunch in Washington DC, transportation, tax, and all gratuities. The cost is $132 per person.

The 2012 Philadelphia Flower Show is on Friday, March 9 with the theme “Hawaii Island of Ahola.” The bus will depart from the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center at 9:30am and arrive back at 10:00pm. Attendees will arrive just in time for lunch. Enjoy a famous cheesesteak or have lunch and shop across the street at Reading Market. Price includes transportation, flower show ticket and bus driver’s tip. The cost is $67.50 per person. Attendees may skip the show and enjoy a day in the city on your own for $43 per person.
