Salisbury Police Department Press Release

On November 28, 2011 at approximately 6:11 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police were on routine patrol in the area of U.S. Rt. 50 and Truitt Street and stopped a vehicle operated by the below listed suspect for a traffic violation. During contact with the suspect the officers detected the scent of suspected marijuana emanating from the vehicle. The vehicle was searched and resulted in the recovery of a bag of suspected marijuana and suspected marijuana paraphernalia.
ARRESTED: Donna Lee Messick, 50 years of age
Bivalve, Maryland
CHARGES: Possession of marijuana
Possession of CDS/Paraphernalia
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking

On November 29, 2011 at approximately 10:20 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department arrested the below listed suspect on an outstanding arrest warrant for a number of counts of prescription fraud. It was reported to the Salisbury Police on November 13 that the suspect had passed twenty-one (21) prescriptions at a local pharmacy that had been found to be fraudulent. The suspect had been passing the prescriptions regularly since July of this year.

ARRESTED: Cynthia Morris Allard, 46 years of age

On November 29, 2011 at approximately 10:39 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police arrested the below listed suspect on an outstanding arrest warrant for making a false report to a police officer. On March 5, 2011 Salisbury Officers responded to a residence on East Isabella Street for the report of a domestic assault and met with the below suspect and an adult male. At that time the suspect reported to the officers that she had been assaulted by the male which led to the male’s arrest. Several months later the suspect reported to the officers that her statement was false and the male had not assaulted her.
