SJD, Actually I believe it was a young eagle. I released a red tail hawk a few years ago and it was very different.
Looks like an osprey. Close to river, makes sense.
Red Tailed hawk. Juvenile Eagles are about twice that size and are a mottled dark brown.
I just love the christmas lights you'all put up!But why is half the plaza tree lights out and most of the building tops?
Nah, that is a small sparrow; learned that in school today at Wicomico High School.My teachers are real smart too...
SJ, I stand corrected. My Wife tells me its a red tailed hawk and there's no second guessing her on that. Therefore, you are correct.
