S.E.C. Hid Its Lawyer’s Madoff Ties

According to an S.E.C. report released this week, an agency lawyer working on Bernard Madoff’s case had inherited $2 million from a Madoff account. The report singles out the lawyer’s role in deciding how Madoff victims would be compensated, a decision which would affect his own personal finances.

Does anyone STILL believe that Madoff acted alone? He stole over 50 BILLION dollars and all they could find is a few hundred million?? And you BELIEVE that? Middle class people deposit $10,000 and the FBI, Homeland Security, and the IRS all DEMAND to know where you got the money. And you BETTER tell them. But 50 BILLION (!!) disappears and no one knows where it went? Congress must be ROLLING in bribes over this one....
