After mobs of young blacks rampaged through Philadelphia committing violence – as similar mobs have rampaged through Chicago, Denver, Milwaukee and other places – Philadelphia’s black mayor, Michael A. Nutter, ordered a police crackdown and lashed out at the whole lifestyle of those who did such things.
“Pull up your pants and buy a belt ’cause no one wants to see your underwear or the crack of your butt,” he said. “If you walk into somebody’s office with your hair uncombed and a pick in the back, and your shoes untied, and your pants half down, tattoos up and down your arms and on your neck, and you wonder why somebody won’t hire you? They don’t hire you ’cause you look like you’re crazy,” the mayor said. He added: “You have damaged your own race.”
While this might seem like it is just plain common sense, what Mayor Nutter said undermines a whole vision of the world that has brought fame, fortune and power to race hustlers in politics, the media and academia. Any racial disparities in hiring can only be due to racism and discrimination, according to the prevailing vision, which reaches from street corner demagogues to the august chambers of the Supreme Court of the United States.
Just to identify the rioters and looters as black is a radical departure, when mayors, police chiefs and the media in other cities report on these outbreaks of violence without mentioning the race of those who are doing these things. The Chicago Tribune even made excuses for failing to mention race when reporting on violent attacks by blacks on whites in Chicago.
Such excuses might make sense if the same politicians and media talking heads were not constantly mentioning race when denouncing the fact that a disproportionate number of young black men are being sent to prison.

They don't like to hear it and some white sympathizers might rant and rave but it is the simple truth.

Mainly because they are committing the disproportionate number of the crimes and will continue as long as there is no parental supervision and there will be not such supervision when they have kids like bunnies with no fathers and mom cannot control them. With all the gangs, etc I see no end to this problem without having an open season with no limit on those that persist in breaking the law
I don't blame black folks, They just fell for the liberal B S. Once you are used to government assistance you are pretty much done as a self sufficient independent productive member of society. The Democrats have enslaved them in a sense once again and are now impoverishing everyone so they can control the rest of us, which is why this sort of thing will continue and turn into race riots which the government will have to impose martial law which will signal the end of freedom.
we are reeping what we've sown for decades.Affirmative Action has become a legalized revrse discrimination where merit and hard work no longer matters. The social welfare system has become a downward cycle where generations of blacks (and whites) have enjoyed the incentives to become lazy, and suck dry the taxpayers who work. Now, we've added a layer of illegals to the long list of people who are taking advantage of those who are productive. If blacks (or whites) commit crime, take equal justice for the crimes no matter whether more blacks or whites actually commit them. Look at what took place in Germantown a few days ago in the 7-11. How many whites did you see who walked through, laughing and stealing? We're reeping what we've sown and there are people out there who think they are "entitled" and who think they can do whatever they want and hide behind a "race card". That should not be true. Sad!
If a white man assaults a black man at all then it's racism. But when a black man sliced a white man with a box cutter in the Crisfield projects no one shouted racism even though it was known that was the reason.
