9-11 And The War On Terror

As the 10th anniversary of Sept. 11 nears, Mike Huckabee this week began promoting his company's latest animated educational video for children: "9/11 and the War on Terror." The release of the kids' cartoon has sparked significant criticism, accusing Huckabee of profiting off the 2001 terror attacks.

During an appearance on the Christian Broadcasting Network's "700 Club" Tuesday, the former Arkansas governor and 2008 presidential candidate noted the company he co-founded, Learn Our History, is releasing a new video "just in time" for the 10th anniversary of the attacks. "The first one is $9.95 and $11.95 after that," Huckabee explained of the ordering process via his company website.

This looks to be very good and made for children so they can accept and learn about how terror-iable the Muslim people really are. We need to bring our children up right and knowlageable about not only the "Stranger Danger" but also the "Muslims will Kill you" truth!!

I am sorry to disagree, this is not for children. I certainly don't shelter my children, but this is over the top. What happened that day should not be presented in the form of a cartoon. If you can't show your children the truth, or the real pictures of what happened, then maybe they are to young to be aware of it.

Further more, Anti- American Muslim Group?!? Wow, can't say Anti -American, and leave it at that?

A cartoon....really? For some reason I find this offensive. When I was in school the best videos were from the History and Discovery Channels with actual footage, pictures, and interviews with historians, scientists, survivors, veterans, etc. Not from a washed up politician trying to make a quick buck by making some cheap format copied cartoon that in my opinion is basically downgrading our history and one of the worst days for America. If a child is at a age where you feel the need to put a tragedy like this in cartoon form then I think they are to young to learn about all of the groups that hate us and want Americans dead, let a child have some innocence for a few years rather than living in fear wondering why anyone would kill them in a split second just for being an American, Im not saying not to teach them about other countries, religions, cultures, beliefs, hate etc. But come on, cartoon Bin Laden screaming death to America? Cant wait to see what Huckabee and his people come up with for World War II, Hitler, and the Holocaust.
