Faith is trust, hope and belief in the goodness, trustworthiness or reliability of a person, concept or entity. Faith is real.

Wow this one will set you holy rollers for a loop! Great quote great author! Get over it, religion is noting more than a large, organized cult for the masses. If you feel you need it in your life, more power to you. I prefer to live my life for the reality of it and not for something that is as mythylogical as the characters in Mencken's tales!

no, 9:59, it doesn't throw us "holy rollers" for a loop. what it does do is remind us of all those we continue to pray for each day. praying that they, too will come to the knowledge and understanding and complete faith in the ONLY ONE who can "save us from ourselves"; Jesus Christ.

God said; "seek me with your whole heart and you will find me". i sure will be praying for your salvation. i send you love from a true disciple of Jesus.

There in lies the problems with the world. Believers cannot keep their beliefs to themselves. Many great cvilizations are gone because religious zealots decided that they knew better than the people before them. Feel free to worship who or whatever you want, but stop trying to force your "faith" on others. Most wars have their roots in religion, if your belifs aren't the same as mine, your wrong, so i guess I have to kill you.
