New Defense secretary Leon Panetta was sworn in about two weeks ago. And already the honeymoon is over. Facing certain future cuts in Defense spending, Panetta floated the idea of a freeze on the number of DOD civilian employees. That got him in trouble with a group of senators, including Barbara Mikulski (D-Md.). She fired off a letter to Panetta, asking him to reconsider. Mikulski tells Federal News Radio she thinks Panetta is freezing the wrong thing.

If you stop hiring federal employees then the Obama Administration would fail at its effort to turn the U.S. into a socialists state. Of course Senator "BM" doesn't like it.
Barbara Mikulski is a bad idea.
