Bob Ehrlich To Visit Rosecroft Raceway, Site Of 200 Layoffs

ANNAPOLIS – Bob Ehrlich will convene a roundtable tomorrow with Marylanders impacted by the closure of Rosecroft Raceway in Fort Washington, Maryland. The track’s owners announced in June they would be closing the track and laying off 200 workers. Ehrlich stated at the time that the closure was a sobering reminder of Maryland’s inability to implement a viable gaming program over the past four years.

4 years? Try 8 when you consider the resistance by Miller and Busch to Erlich's slots agenda. These machines should have gone into independent outlets just like LOTTO. There was no reason outside of greed that only a "chosen few" would be permitted to host slots in MD.

Nearly as long, the OC Elks has been trying unsuccessfully to get permission for a lousy 5 slots that other counties permit for charity funding.

This effort started when people had jobs and money.

Take out the trash on election day!

Rosecroft was lost long ago. It used to be a wonderful place , but like everything it has changed.
I wonder why ,guess they aren't making a profit. Look at the local people and make that decision.
Of course I can't make a comment that it is now an all black neighborhood. Another business down the tubes. Thank you obamie. You SOB.

Would that be the same Bob Ehrlich who couldn't "implement a viable gaming program" during his entire administration?

Does the man have no shame?
