Wow, did I just hear what I thought I heard? "A good idea is a good idea, it doesn't matter who it comes from." I am so sick to death of the Republicans versus the Democrats with nothing getting done, Siggers sounds like a breath of fresh air, common sense, practical and intelligent. I appreciated how she didn't just jump in and make blanket decisions without knowing all the facts. When asked about a tax repeal she said it would depend on what the funds were allocated to, if it was needed, it should stay, if not, she was all for giving the taxpayers a break. I know who I'm voting for.
For a candidate that says "a good idea is a good idea," and who wants to be a breath of fresh air in Annapolis why does she keep returning to the failed liberal policies that got us in this mess?
Reallocating spending instead of cutting taxes - why not reducing spending and cut taxes.
She said the state needs the money to survive. This wouldn't be the case if MD wouldn't spend so much. I've heard the worst idea here that I've heard for a long time. When the economy is high let's keep the tax rate up so the state survives. Why not lower taxes so that individuals survive.
With all respect to Ms. Siggers if she thinks the economy is the main area of concern then we DO NOT NEED a state funded stimulus.
A good idea would be for the government to get out of the way of the individuals. If she is unable to see that, perhaps she is not the best candidate for this district.
I'd like to take this opportunity to say that I have enjoyed receiving your constructive and thoughtful feedback to my interview. We may all come from different perspectives and experiences and I appreciate you sharing yours. I find your opinions to be insightful. Please don't stop sharing. Thank you, Von Siggers

Does she still have her sweet gold Corvette?
Joe. . . this is one of the best interviews you have given to date.
You were polite, your points were cogent and to the point.
You really did an excellent job.

I will take her over Ireton any day. If this doesn't work out for her maybe she will run for Mayor and beat Jim Boi.

Nice job, Von! It is obvious that you've really thought about the issues. You've got my vote.
