Brian Murphy, The Real Deal

THE REAL DEAL!

At last nights Republican club meeting - Brian Murphy - candidate for Maryland Governor - positively shell shocked the attending audience with his vision for Maryland's political landscape.

Now as I have never met this gentlemen until last nights meeting - I can tell you first hand that he gained the attention, appreciation, and admiration of the listening audience. For me - It wasn't the same old rhetoric that I had heard being preached so many times before. But it was refreshing to see his impressive and bold demonstration of articulating a new vision for Maryland. One that would reign in a new era for those of us who are looking for a demonstrable change in Maryland politics.

In my estimation - Brian Murphy - is the only realistic choice for Maryland taxpayers who are looking to be placed at the 'top' of the totem pole as opposed to the bottom. His vision includes a very limited and restrained role of Maryland government - unlike the run-a-way train that had been experienced in recent years under both - a Republican and Democratic - Governor.

You see what separates Brian Murphy from either Ehrlich and O'Malley is that the gentlemen has not allowed himself to become 'tainted' by special interest groups like the teachers unions, insurance lobbyist, utility industry, and other special interest concerns.

Virtually all Marylanders are keenly aware that while under, both, O'Malley - (Democrat) - and Ehrlich - (Republican), that the size of our state government has increased dramatically - even despite the deepening recession.

Bottom line - for both Democrats and Republicans - it would be refreshing to see this gentlemen attain the rank of the Governorship and allow him the opportunity to try and usher-in a new direction for Marylanders.

For those of you who have not yet met and seen this individual - I encourage you to attend his very next public campaign function. I can guarantee you that you won't be disappointed. What happened at the Wicomico County Republican Club meeting this past Monday night - was spectacular to say the least.

He may be Maryland's "Christie". If so, we are blessed to have him as a candidate. Who knows. It seems as though he may have conferred with the New Jersey govenor.

Brian is a great guy and would do this state well. He comes from a great family here on the Eastern Shore. He's not forgotten his roots either. He is up against some big $$ campaigns but will not give up his fight.

I think all Conservatives and all Republicans need to support him in the primary. We can't have that spending freak Ehrlich win this primary. He increased spending more than Schaefer! We need real conservatives.

Brian Murphy knows he is a long shot, but like everyone is eluding to, he is the right choice for MD in order to move us into a new era of political landscape. I am rather frustrated with MD GOP and RNC for giving Harris and Ehrlich $$ for the primary. Isn't that a subtle endorsement? I have lost most of my faith in MDGOP and RNC and will vote for new faces that are qualified. No RINOs allowed- this means you Eric Wargotz!

We need to tell all our friends, neighbors and family members to check him out! The press and the Maryland Republican Party organization continue to ignore him!
The MDGOP is wedded to Ehrlich and the Press wants to shield O'Malley from him.

Murphy needs to spell out details on his website and elsewhere of what exactly he believes in and how he intends to accomplish his goals. He's too sparse on details so far.

So far Brian Murphy only speaks a good conservative narrative. He has no record so words is what we can base him on. So I would love to some questions answered. Why did he switch back and forth from Republican to Democrat then to Republican. He left the Republican party in 2003, why? Is he considered a RINO? What were is dealing at Constellation in regards to Lehman Brothers? Can he explain his new business venture how many employees? pay scale? Profit? Help us out here with answers. No experience and on the job training is not what MD needs.
We already have that with our President.

This is exactly why I'm lured to Jim Murphy as opposed to Ehrlich or O'Malley. We already know what we got with either one of these gentlemen - (shaft).

He certainly speaks a fiscally conservative tone. I'm leaning heavily towards supporting Murphy.
I hope he gets the same message out that he got out at the Wicomico Republican Club meeting this past Monday night.

Brian Murphy - The Real Wheeler-Dealer! Voters do your homework! This candidate has a flimsy resume and is spouting all the right buzz words that conservatives want to hear, and you are following him down the garden path. He says words...just words without the substance or experience for him to carry out his campaign promises. He was a Democrat just a few years ago. Why would you join a party that is the complete opposite of conservatism...and don't believe that bunk about he didn't agree with all the spending Republicans were doing. So you jump out of the pan and into the fire and join the party who spends even more! He joins the party that is pro-abortion, anti-gun, and spends like drunken sailors. Did you think his party change may have been the politically correct thing to do while employed at Constellation Energy - ya think! He claims to know how to create jobs. He created a few jobs at his baking co. with OTHER PEOPLES MONEY and a business model that will fail once the investor money dries up. He got fired, let go, or caught up in the downsizing of the Lehman Bros debacle and their association with Constellation Energy - does that spell success? Do your homework - thorougly vet this candidate. Don't just vote for him because he says we need a change. I think we've heard that phrase before.

Murphy is Ok and Wargotz is a fine choice as well. I choose to support both.
