Incident: CDS Violations
SUSPECT: Isaac E. Franklin B/M 22yoa Salisbury, MD

BRIEF RESUME:
On 07/27/2010, at 1120 hours, a Trooper from the Salisbury Barrack conducted a traffic stop on the above suspect’s vehicle for speeding at the above location. During the encounter, the Trooper requested a drug sniffing K-9 scan of the vehicle based on criminal indicators. The K-9 handler indicated a positive alert for the odor of a Controlled Dangerous Substance. A search of the vehicle revealed a glass smoking device containing a greenish brown vegetable matter suspected Marijuana. Franklin was arrested and transported to WCDC for processing.

I'm all for busting the guys selling crack/heroin/meth on the streets, but why waste all of these resources arresting people for weed?
