“I am proud of the Safe Streets Coalition – which has earned the trust of the Governor’s Office of Crime Control and Prevention in order to qualify for another round of funding. The Sherriff’s Office, State Police, State’s Attorney’s Office, Salisbury Police Department – all who are contributing to this effort can be commended. The public should know that we are making steady progress, as indicated by our drop in crime rates city-wide – and especially in our CSAFE/Safe Streets Church Street Neighborhood. The City of Salisbury is proud to be the recipient of this $327K award. I thank the Governor and the office of Crime Control and Prevention.” Said Mayor Ireton.
