There will be more taxes next year if the people don't let the legislators know that we are over taxed now. One new tax allready being proposed is an ATV tax. ATV's will have to be licensed just like an automobile, even if you never take it off your property. What will be next, a lawnmower tax?

Jobs should have been the administrations first priority, not healthcare.

But what do I know? More people working means more people paying taxes, could mean less tax hikes to pay for this pork-u-lus healthcare bill.

Why is this called taxes to look forward to? Correct me If I'm wrong but these are all current taxes.

To 9:34 A.M. Yes please tell all your local and higher anarchy government what you think about tax and how much were taxed now... Let me know how it goes... As I suspect, It will go the same as you TELLING all the officials NOT to pass health care right? When will you learn that protest and emails and what ever WILL not fix the problem... Tho it might help you emotionally to vent on here, that's great... But the government showed you how much you matter and how much your voice matters huh?

Welfare check looking better all the time.We work, they take it away.Just like socialist. Thought a big boat came here with people a couple hundred + years ago from England to avoid this? The temptation o lawmakers to reach into your pocket and you can't say no, must be overwhelming.

most of you middle class folks had the lowest income tax rates in years...

while I don't love paying taxes, they are a necessity. we enjoy our infrastructure, our defense, our medicare, our social security, our police and firemen, our public schools and libraries, our public parks, etc., etc...

We don't manufacture anything anymore and import much more than we export. We can't pay for anything without tax revenue. Are you all suggesting no taxes? Do you really think that all of your hard earned tax money is only going to poor black people (the overwhelming theme of this blog)

I was taxed 80 cents on a utility trailer tire I brought up to the counter at Walmart. They tried to tax me for tire dispoal but I had no tire to dispose of. They said it was on the computer and they could not remove it. I asked for someone smarter than the computer. An hour later the manager came and removed it. Guess they thought I would go away or pay.

less than a penny of your tax dollar goes to welfare. Can you guess how much of it goes to support our elected officials...and sen their kids to ivy league schools. Lets be honest with ourselves about how and where taxex go. And because there are statistically more nonminorities in the population...who do you think really enjoys the benefits of a welfare check?

Where did you see anything about poor black people anywhere here? Must have been somewhere else.Joe can get in enough trouble on his own.. Don't be putting words in his mouth that he never said. Poor comes in all colors.I am black and read joe all the time and agree most of the time.I work for my money like the rest of us.

You appearantly have your head up your A&&.
The TOTAL tax burden for the middle class is at the highest it has ever been, period!
Get you facts straight.
Oh, and by the way. A very substantial chunk of the tax money DOES pay for people to sit home and watch Oprah.
