Last week my neighbor came home to a huge surprise. She pulled onto her property and saw a new animal in her pasture she never expected, Lucy. This playful little girl was out and about running and jumping, just having a blast yesterday. I couldn't resist taking a picture of Momma and her new Baby Girl.

could that picture really been taken last week with corn that looks like it needs to be harvested, I thought farmers were planting corn this time of the year
FYI - The pic was taken yesterday, Sunday, 4/18 on my farm. Yes, that is corn that didn't get harvested because of a flooded field and then snow geese cleaned it out during the snow. Check out the grass - it is green not dried-out brown like it is in a pasture in the fall. Want to see the little "lady"? Joe knows where Lucy is so come out and see for yourself. As of 2:00 today, 4/19 she is 10 days old.
It's that time of year. My friend just posted a picture of her new little one that was born at 6:30pm tonight. Look at this picture was like dejavu. Here's are the same color.
