Yesterday we provided this article referencing the Hostess at the Greene Turtle turning in almost $1,000.00 cash she found at one of the tables.
After personally speaking with Brye yesterday there was no question in my mind, her first reaction was to turn it in.
Because Brye was so kind, Salisbury News chose to post an ad for free for one month for the Greene Turtle. We hope the ad can remind people what good deeds The Greene Turtle can provide as well as the great food service I've personally enjoyed there.

Glad there are people out there who still have good morals! And Joe, that's very sweet of you to give them advertising space for a month. Hopefully it'll show others out there that by doing the right thing can have positive consequences :)

They are having a fundraiser to support the volunteer auxiliary at Deer's Head Hospital on Tues 4/20 to benefit patient/resident projects. They are donating 10% of all food/drink sold. All day fundraiser 11am-midnight. DJ Moon Bean Productions there 5-9pm for karaoke! Door prizes and 50/50 raffle as well during that time! Please come out and support The Greene Turtle and Deer's Head! It also happens to be National Volunteer Week! Thanks!
