The Foxwell Family Thanks The Community

Our family wishes to express our profound gratitude to the hundreds of wonderful people in our community who attended the funeral service for our beloved “Haleybug.” We especially appreciate Sarah’s friends and classmates who attended and shared their precious memories with us. We felt loved and uplifted by the service and knew that our sorrow had become the entire community’s sorrow.

For our family especially, Sarah’s loss was both a very private and public matter. We are very grateful to Pastor Bill Warren and especially to Mr. Keith Downey and Mr. John Holloway of Holloway Funeral Home for guiding us through the decision process and helping us to mourn Sarah privately and to celebrate her life publicly.

It is our desire to publicly thank and share the generosity of so many that stepped forward to assist our family with funeral costs. Special thanks to Holloway Funeral Home who donated all of their services and coordinated with many of their suppliers for the contributions of all costs associated with the funeral, burial and memorial service.

In addition to Holloway Funeral Home, we wish to publicly thank Wicomico Vault Company and its staff, Batesville Casket Company, Parsons Cemetery, Salisbury Monument, Etched in Style, Emmanuel Wesleyan Church, The Daily Times and Sonya’s Flowers for your donations of goods and services to honor our beloved Sarah. Thank you for sharing the burden of our loss.

We are very humbled and gratified to know of the unending generosity of so many in our community.

Jennifer & family,

Love & prayers still go out to your family.

I would never want to walk a mile in your shoes. The saying is "God will give you no more than you can carry". I'm sure you didn't realize how strong you really are. May your family find some peace in knowing that we all came to love your daughter.

God Bless this Angel. I know she is walking with lions in fields of gold, running her fingers through their mane. She is at peace and for eternity she will feel no more fear or pain.

God Bless each and everyone that helped this family in time of such horric pain.

God Bless my brothers and sisters that sought the monster that committed this crime. So much pain and darkness. We have so much work to do.

It is amazing that a community can so quickly come together to help get through a tragedy like this. I am proud to be a part of it, and I am proud of Holloway Funeral Home for finally getting their priorities straight, at least in this situation. My heart goes out to the Foxwell family. I feel like I suffered a tremendous loss, and I didn't even know this Angel. So Jenny, stay strong. We'll never forget your baby girl.
