Narrative: On above date and time, Troopers from the Maryland State Police Barrack “V” Berlin responded to Bucks Place, 11848 Assateague Road, Berlin, Worcester County, MD in reference to a burglar alarm activation. Upon arrival, Troopers observed signs of forced entry into the business. A Trooper patrolled the area and located a suspect riding a bicycle in close proximity to the scene of the crime. The suspect was identified as Roger Vincent Welton. Investigation linked Welton to the burglary which had just occurred at Bucks Place. Welton was arrested and formally charged with Second Degree Burglary, Fourth Degree Burglary, Malicious Destruction of Property, and Theft.

Disposition: Taken before a Worcester County District Court Commissioner and held, $25,000 bond.
