Wall Street Agreeing With Main Street’s Anger

Investors seemingly grow frustrated with Obama’s economic policies

NEW YORK
- It was the fat cats' fault before. But now it's becoming Obama's.

With the unemployment rate stubbornly high, people were already shifting blame for their economic woes to President Barack Obama one year into his presidency. Last week, investors joined them.

For 10 months, the stock market climbed at breathtaking speed. But the Dow Jones industrial average suffered its worst week since dropping to a 12-year low in early March. It fell 552 points Wednesday through Friday, including 216 on Friday.

If you are not going to post news regarding the great recovery in stocks that we've seen over the past year then don't post when the market drops either. Stocks can be a poor indicator of success; I just hate when pundits want to use it as a tool to trash their rivals but stay silent when the numbers don't go in their favor.

Wall Street took half of what I had in my 401k. (You know, that "safe" retirement most of us were told to use.)

They can NOT have MY Main Street Anger.

The most important part of this article was the fact that Intel's profits were UP better even than expected but the stock went down.

Wall Street is manipulated by greed barons.

If Browns election was because of bush's failed policies how can we blame the economy on obamanation? It will take until year 7 before we can try to hold the bum accountable.

Things were going well with my investments until the administration decided to get even for the upset in Mass. by bashing Wall Street. Like it or not, as Wall Street goes so goes our economy. If I do not make money on my portfolio I cannot spend it on Delmarva.
