There is something very strange about the Fort Hood incident. The media/government led us to believe the shooter was dead for over 7 hours before revealing that he was alive and recovering. The media/government led us to believe there were at least 2 other shooters involved before telling us there was only one person. The personal friends and family of the man involved tell us this is "out of character" for him. finally, how could this guy wound so many with 2 handguns (one of which was beleived to be a revolver) before being stopped? And a 110 pound lady cop stopped him, after taking 3-4 bullets? Where are the heroes? Where is the motive?

That is what happens when you go shooting fish in a barrel. Find a place with 100 people in it unarmed open fire with two guns and no one can stop you. All they can do is flee. It is more surprising there were not more dead.
Only arming people will stop such a thing from happening. The first person there with a gun quickly stopped it. Had many had guns it is unlikely any would have been killed. Jihad-es are cowards. They seek to kill defenseless civilians or in this case army personnel. Defenseless is the key. We need guns in schools and all other places these cowards act.
I could not believe those cowardly policemen in heavy armor massing outside for hours while the defenseless (human children shields) were put down in the school last week. How many would have died had the shooter not committed suicide? Policemen no longer protect the defenseless just themselves. They wait till the shooting stops to enter. They use children as human shields while the shooting is continuing. Columbine obviously taught them nothing. They consider 30 dead children a successful operation as long as 0 policemen die or get shot.

Every time I hear that, I just cringe.
Bush himself did not "keep us safe".
IMO, we were lucky. The "terrorists" were just not prepared to do another attack. How long did they plan the 9/11 attacks before they actually carried them out? Probably a long time.
I have a feeling that we will have another attack, probably bigger then 9/11 since it didn't kill as many of us Americans as they probably hoped it would, and the next one will probably end up being more widespread to affect thousands more of us.
Of course, this could happen on Obama's watch in which case then those will blame Obama just like when it happened on Bush's watch, they want to blame Clinton.
Bush was in office less than nine months before 9/11. The muslim terrorists learned after 9/11 that Bush would chase them anywhere to kill them. That is why we have not been attacked since.
They now know we have a pacifist in office and he will only do police type work if we are attacked again. Yes I believe we will be attacked again and again as long as we have a limp wristed weakling in office. Fortunately for us, if we survive that long, this mistake will be rectified in about 3 years.
Ans as to Clinton, if he had taken Osama Bin Laden out when he had the oppurtunity, we would not have been attacked on 9/11. Unfortunately for us he was too busy dipping his cigars in Monica Lewinsky to act when he had the chance.
There was another School Shooting last week. The officers took four long hours to "secure" the school and 1 1/2 hour to reach the shooter (only one it turned out). Just like Columbine the poor students were left to fend for themselves while the cowardly "policemen" prepared to enter with suits that looked the ones bomb disarming officers use.
Thank God the same did not happen at Fort Hood. Though they do different things on Military Bases. I praise this brave woman but then to that is her job. We pay police officers well and give them generous early retirement to somewhat compensate for the risk they are supposed to take. Unfortunately far too often now days they try to avoid all risk and leave the ones they are supposed to serve and protect defenseless. They wait for the shooting to end before cleaning up after the shooting is done. They could care less how many of us die as long as they do not die or get shot. Success is measured solely by how few officers get hurt. Dead civilians do not affect their measurement of success. That is a coward in my book.
So...just because someone is Muslim, that means they are a terrorist? It still amazes me how slow some people are around here. Leave the Eastern Shore once in awhile please...get some culture and knowledge.

Obama is no more responsible for the act of a coward than Clinton or Bush were for 9/11. Everyone needs a scapegoat. Seems to be the American way. You have to have someone to blame for the insane acts of one person. No different than the Kennedy Assasination, the death of Len Bias, or any other tragedy which sane people can't fathom. The actions of our country( 100's of individuals in power making policy decisions worldwide) over the last FORTY years are partly to blame for what we have now. Who armed Iraq in the seventies? Who armed Afghanistan in the eighties? Clinton's shot at Bin Laden was detered because the bombing would have happened in Saudi Arabia. What we have now is the product of FOUR decades, not the last 9 years.

Meanwhile he is neutering the CIA and law enforcement and denying that Muslim Terrorism even exist. Specific Acts of Obama allowed this to occur. Obama allowed his Att. General to neuter the CIA by investigating them and restricting by EO information sharing. Thus the Army was not informed of the contacts Hasan had with Al Queda. Furthermore Obama refuses to even call a Terrorist Attack by that name using gobbledygook "Man Made Disaster" along with numerous other actions favoring Muslims and diminishing their war on us.

While I am not downplaying the seriousness of the situation, out of that estimate of 2000 in the US, very very few are likely to even attempt to carry out any kind of action, or will be caught by the feds before they ever get the chance.
There are probably more than 2000 violent dangerous criminals capable of murder or harm in a 50 mile radius of Salisbury that are much more pertinent to our daily lives. I think that is where we should focus our anger, frustration, and desire to "run them out on a rail".

As for our government and all governments, I am very much and epigone of Thomas Jefferson and believe that ALL government is evil. Jefferson realized that some form of government is necessary, but must be controlled by the populace. With the advent of modern technology and weapons this is an increasingly difficult duty. Since government is a necessary evil, I continue to hope that our republican democracy is the form of government most accountable to the populace and, thus, not the greater good but, rather, the lesser evil.

Common Crime is no reason to minimize the threat Islamic Terrorism is capable of inflicting. 3000 killed on one day by just 19 of them. Then you have the media immediately making the female police officer into the hero. There was a male officer with her, but until today we didn't even know his name. The truth of the matter is, the female officer unwittingly confronted the terrorist and was shot twice, incapacitating the female officer. Her partner was the one that neutralized the threat. It turns out he's also a minority or we would have never known his name. Spin and poltical correctness the name of the game.

I have absolutely no sympathy for the muslim terrorists that are directly responsible for murders and other terrorist activities. I believe they deserve to be captured and prosecuted and deserve the harshest punishment we could ever think of. I only hope that innocent people who just so happen to follow the same religion as these terrorists (which I personally believe are fanatic nutjobs that deserve to be blown to bits) are not victims of unneccessary persecution because of their beliefs. There are good people of all colors, genders, and religious beliefs that don't deserve to suffer because of the actions of the small minority of their radicals.
