Thank You!

You stay up for 16 hours.

We stay up for days on end.

You take a warm shower to help you wake up.

We go weeks without running water.

You complain of a 'headache' and call in sick.

We get shot at, as others are hit,and we keep moving forward.

You talk about your buddies that aren't with you.

We know we may never see any of ours ever again.

You complain about how hot it is.

We wear our heavy gear, not daring to take off our helmet to wipe our forehead.

You get mad at the waiter for getting your order wrong.

We don't get to eat today.

You're mad that your class got held 5 minutes over.

We're told we will be held over an extra 2 months.

You roll your eyes when your baby cries.

He gets a letter with pictures of his new baby, and wonders if they'll ever meet.

The soldiers sacrifice all of this and our corrupt government sends them to fight for reasons unknown. The soldiers don't ever question the orders they are given. They simply fight the enemy in front of them.

Maybe it is time for our soldiers to question authority?

Maybe it is time for US to question our leaders and their decisions concerning these soldiers' life.

Why do they send them to Iraq, Afghanistan? What are the reasons? Why do our soldiers sacrifice so much?

Valid questions. Not answered.

Thank You for what you do for me and our country. My Dad served in World War 2. No questions asked. Thank THEM for our freedom and free speech! God Bless America and our soliders for all that they do.
