NEW YORK - The TLC cable TV network says it's suing Jon Gosselin for breaching his contract as star of the reality show "Jon & Kate Plus 8."
The lawsuit, filed Friday in Maryland, alleges that Gosselin hasn't met the obligations of his contract as an exclusive employee, has appeared on other programs for pay and made unauthorized disclosures about the show.
Gosselin has starred for two years in "Jon & Kate Plus 8," which has been consumed in recent months by marital turmoil as Gosselin and his wife, Kate, feuded, then filed for divorce. The couple are the parents of young twins and sextuplets.

He wasn't being portrayed properly by the media, so he came forward to set the record straight and tell what really happened that led to the end of his marriage. So TLC is ticked. Big deal. I hope he wins the lawsuit. Kate's done nothing but tell lies this whole time and I hope she gets whats coming to her. Bankruptcy!!
Wonder if Kate is getting paid to be on The View. Wouldn't that be breach of contract too??

Come on enough is enough...When this family went into "television mode" with their personal lives they became viewers targets. Jon wants to go back to a normal life whereas that "witch" wants fame and fortune. She treated him like crap on tv so what do we expect her to do now...Let the kids be kids (even though thats totally impossible now). Would their lives be such an open book now if they didn't start on tv. Let it die..Let them divorce and move on. TLC drop the suit as it is totally stupid. I agree that Kate has lied the entire time..she can't stand to live without the lifestyle she's become accustomed to. Geez move on and let it die...

I'm glad of it, Jon is ridiculous, Kate has done what she needed to do for the children while he has gone off and acted like a 20 year old. Everyone has hated on Kate and sure, she was mean but he acted like he was inept so someone needed to step in and keep things organized. Everyone has acted like Kate at some point in their lives so don't act like you haven't.
