Ever since the September, 1814 day when Francis Scott Key penned, "The Star Spangled Banner", our national anthem, four words had a special meaning. "THE LAND OF THE FREE" James Madison, the fourth President was in office at that time during the war of 1812. From Madison through George W. Bush the meaning was clear. We are a Free People, Free to live as we wished, Free to buy or not to buy whatever we wanted.
Today, I am not at all certain the meaning is the same. Are we still free to by the car of our choice? Will we be forced to buy insurance by government mandate? Does free now mean a government handout? The government seems to feel we must be told what to eat, what to weigh and how much exercise we need. What is the proper temperature to keep our homes at? What will be our source of energy? How much government intrusion into our lives is acceptable? Government will determine how much of your work results you get to keep. Government will decide who is deserving of charity and use your money to make the contribution. Is this "THE LAND OF THE FREE" you were born to?
NO, I don't intend to leave, but I do intend to fight to return to the original meaning. Will you fight or surrender?

Since your side of the aisle is so opposed to government bureaucrats making our healthcare decisions for us, does that mean the abortion debate is finally over? Government telling you that you cannot get an abortion is the same as government telling you that you cannot get a surgery, right?
And the government will not get involved when the family of a brain-dead white woman from a swing state is going to taken off life-support, right? Bureaucrats should not be involved in decisions like that, right?
I mean, anything else would be a double-standard, and we know the GOP does not stand for that.
Nobody is going to fight.
It's a pipe dream to think otherwise.
We just don't have the stomach for it.
The liberals have won.
Let them have communism.
Just buy ammo and guns before it's too late.
Let them eat lead when they come to take your stuff.
The threats of violence on this blog by so called "American patriots" are an insult to the founding fathers, and the governmental instrument they crafted.
If you use violence you are a traitor to this country, and should be dealt with as such. To threaten to take someone's life because they hold a different political view about some issue, is not patriotism, it is murder. If you do not have the intellect or leadership to express your viewpoint and change minds and votes, then find someone who does, and work to elect them. To do otherwise, leads to anarchy and is much more of a threat to our country. And answer this, what will you do when the military and policemen protecting this country try and stop your murdering ways? Kill all of them? Take a look at way you are really saying and threatening.

But I do agree with most of what you said.
However, I don't think you could call everyone who swore to defend the constitution against ALL enemies, foreign and domestic.
Yes, we will try to vote the scumbags out.
But I feel they have successfully subverted the process to a point that is irreversible.

Hear here.
Some of us are Christians and live in America. We were born here. We have come to understand what America is and does abroad. We therefore have come to hate the government of America. It does not represent us. It is not similar to us. It is foreign to us.
We Christians however do not wish to leave. Why? Because our family lives here, and our experience is here.
We wish the government was not the evil institution it has become. We also realize it is constantly changing - for the worse.
We Christians will not fight. We will not kill. We may become sacrificed and we will tremble and fear our fate. However, we are still Christians.
We are NOT proud to be Americans. We simply are Americans.
We will however, tell the truth. And we will try our best to convince the young people of America to STOP KILLING for this evil wretched government. Our government is a den of vipers.
We are here to bear witness to the truth - and the truth will set us free. However, that freedom is spiritual. In flesh we are doomed. We are miserable and down trodden.
Come quickly Oh Lord - Jesus Christ, come quickly.
